The
story behind Snipps Salon
Snipps
Salon was begun in 1992 by Anne and Sally Richardson as a mainly rural
based hair care business. The business grew rapidly in the 90's and the
income generated enabled Snipps to take full benefit of the
opportunities that this created.
In
1998 the company diversified into nail treatments etc, to focus wholly
on all aspects of the beauty industry. This move was extremely positive
and the company experienced major expansion with the securing of several
major hair care contracts.
Further
company expansion was generated by the purchase of Hawera Haircare in
late 2003. The acquisition of Carterton Beauty in 2007 has widened the
company's activities and doubled its capacity.
Snipps
Salon now operates a number of salons making it one of the largest
independent operators in the industry. |
